Terms & Conditions

All project estimates are prepared based on our initial understanding of your requirements and the agreed timeline. Any revisions or added features, whether small or extensive may result in additional costs. During meetings or discussions, please provide clear and detailed instructions to avoid misunderstandings.

When you approve a quotation, you acknowledge and accept TechQuill’s terms, conditions, and service policies. Confirmation may be provided verbally, through email, by signing the quotation, or by paying the initial deposit.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all essential information, instructions, and expectations are clearly communicated to TechQuill. Any additional conditions or requests must be shared beforehand. If important details are not provided in time, we will proceed using our interpretation of the project scope. Any major differences identified later may require extra charges. Providing complete information helps us deliver an accurate cost estimate.

Any advanced or complex project features must be mentioned early and included in the proposal. TechQuill relies on honest and accurate information during the quoting process. We cannot be held liable for delays or issues caused by later modifications to the project scope.

All required content, files, and materials should be submitted within the first two weeks of starting the project. Delays in providing these items may extend the delivery timeline. If delays exceed a reasonable period, additional charges may apply. Our website testing includes the most recent versions of common browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. If testing on additional browsers is required, please inform us beforehand.

For mobile responsiveness testing, TechQuill uses iPhones and iPads. If testing on other devices is needed, kindly notify us in advance.

If your website is hosted outside TechQuill’s hosting environment, any additional time spent troubleshooting server or network issues will not be included in the original quote and will be billed separately.

Projects that remain inactive for more than two months will incur an administrative fee of $50 per week. Cost estimates may also be subject to revision. If you wish to pause the project, advance notice is required so TechQuill can properly adjust scheduling and workflow.

There is no fee for officially placing a project on hold; however, your account and project status must be updated before doing so. If a pause becomes necessary, we will discuss and guide you through the required steps.

Our websites are designed for optimal performance on standard commercial grade internet connections. Performance may vary if accessed through high traffic or restricted office networks.

TechQuill reviews third-party tools or integrations when relevant, but we cannot guarantee their long term compatibility or functionality. Costs associated with SSL certificates, payment gateways, advertising platforms, plugin licenses, and other external services are not included in our quotations unless specified.

TechQuill is not responsible for issues arising from open source platforms (e.g., WordPress) or e-commerce systems. Clients must ensure all plugins, themes, and third party software remain updated. Routine maintenance is strongly recommended.

Some of our services rely on third party providers. Changes in their pricing, policies, or terms may impact the services we deliver.

Occasionally, delays may occur due to unforeseen events. As long as TechQuill makes reasonable efforts to follow the agreed timeline, no penalties or compensation will apply for such delays.

Domain registration, renewal, and related services are not included in our project estimates unless specifically mentioned. If required, a separate quotation will be provided.

Hosting services are not part of our standard quotes. If needed, TechQuill can arrange hosting and provide a separate estimate. If the client uses their own hosting, they must consult TechQuill beforehand to ensure the hosting environment supports the project’s technology. Full server access is required for testing and deployment. TechQuill is not responsible for problems caused by third party hosting providers.

Websites are typically tested on TechQuill’s internal servers or temporary domains. Third party access to our testing environment is not allowed. After all invoices are cleared, the website can be migrated to a test server of the client’s choice.

Once all payments are completed, TechQuill grants the client full rights to use, modify, and publish the website’s design, text content, and images. This does not include ownership of proprietary coding, scripts, development systems, or marketing processes, which remain the intellectual property of TechQuill unless otherwise agreed.

All updates, communication, and project coordination will be handled via email. Clients must ensure TechQuill has their correct and active email address at all times.
